To recap BC Ferries news so far today: - 2 major vessels out of service - They’ve revealed Northern Adventure nearly scraped its hull on a shoal March 8 - No drinking water or hot food on Salish Heron (5th vessel with water quality issue in 2 weeks) #bcpoli Global BC

So… it’s actually *3* major vessels out of service for BC Ferries. Passengers on the Tsawwassen-Swartz Bay run (currently a 7 sailing wait) may notice the Coastal Celebration docked at Swartz Bay. I’m told it’s in refit there. Happy Easter long weekend! 🐣 #bcpoli Global BC

NEW: The Queen of Surrey returned (late) from refit this morning. It did one sailing - and broke down. Several cancelled sailings on the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale run. #bcpoli Global BC

John Garrett was a legend. No other way to say it. He was always there riding with us, a friendly calming voice even during the bad years. The Canucks could be losing 8-0 but John and John would be laughing about hot dogs or something and it wouldn’t feel so bad.
