We test this routinely UChicago Medicine for high-risk patients with stroke and have found HALF of tested patient have Lp(a) > 75 mg/dL. Much higher prevalence than the 20% reported elsewhere. Prognostically useful AND soon treatable! (Current PCSK9i also can reduce levels FYI)
