Yesterday, at Breakthrough T1D launch event of their report: bit.ly/3SO43jN Partha S Kar 🇮🇳🇬🇧🏏🎥 said that 63% of children use ‘Hybrid closed loops’, but less than 1% of older adults with type 1 use them! He jokingly said that we were all in the room! This needs to change.

Older adults with type 1 diabetes deserve better care. I've submitted a briefing to the APPG for Diabetes, calling for urgent action to address gaps in care home support. Lifespans are increasing—but care systems haven’t kept up. It's time to act!
