Why did this The New York Times paean to wood pigeons need to shit on other pigeons? Rock pigeons aren't more "messy diseased & persistent pests" than wood pigeons & other urban animals. It's nonsensical to call urban wood pigeons "innocent" & rock doves "hardened" nytimes.com/2025/06/24/mag…
