Shooting people because of their words imperils anyone who speaks publicly. Political violence endangers the very essence of free speech. Nobody deserves to die because of their opinions.

President Donald Trump has confirmed that Charlie Kirk has died after being shot at an event at a University in Utah.

Plenty of posts are currently circulating online claiming to reveal the identity of the shooter in the killing of Charlie Kirk without any evidence. According to the authorities, the shooter is currently at large and not in custody.

Don't be surprised if whoever killed Charlie Kirk has no coherent political ideology, didn't do it for any particular reason, and doesn’t fall anywhere neat on the left/right paradigm.
