i hope we get some sort of camera which can verify if an image is real i see some folks posting amazing photos, but especially if i don't know the photographer, i can no longer tell if they are real or AI-generated for me, it matters. if real, then the meaning hits 10000x more

This is absolutely the way. Global elections throughout 2024 will make this obvious for trust in government. But, make no mistake, this will become a staple for trust in all outbound media over the next two years, and soon after, trust in all digital content.
