Today we launched Law Enforcement for Stein. NC’s law enforcement officers work tirelessly to protect our communities — and I’m grateful for the support they’ve shown our campaign. Together, we will continue working to keep NC safe.

I was proud to join dozens of district attorneys, sheriffs, and police chiefs as we kicked off Law Enforcement for Stein. I’m supporting Josh Stein because he understands what it takes to keep our communities safe, demonstrated by his work to eliminate the rape kit backlog and

I’m overjoyed that WCHL & Chapelboro has selected my friend and co-worker @MichelleDunevan as this week’s Hometown Hero! Michelle is retiring at the end of this month after 30 years of state service and while I’m so happy for her, we’re all really going to miss her!

A UNC Health alert sent to employees and stakeholders shortly before 9 a.m. described Alston’s escape when he was “arriving at the UNC Hospitals’ Hillsborough Campus” and he subsequently ran off the premises. chapelboro.com/news/safety/co…

Ed Eldred is humble, widely respected and deeply cares about the fair application of the law. I saw him earlier today, as he had just arrived in town from the coast where he connected with voters. Let’s support, vote & get him onto our NC Court of Appeals! eldredforjudge.com/meet-ed

Violent rhetoric and rank vandalism have no place in our community. I only hope someone will have the decency to identify the person(s) who defaced the courthouse with “kill cops” and other hateful messages so they can be held accountable. chapelboro.com/news/crime/cha…

This is just a bad (and tired) take. I don’t judge legal TV shows/movies based on how accurate they are. Know why? Because an accurate depiction of what I do, exciting and fulfilling as it is, wouldn’t make for very good television. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

This argument is so dumb. If he were to influence the Heels getting in (which he’s not allowed to), the selfish move would be to keep them out, not in. $104K is a lot for most people but not worth the (unfair) hit this very-well-paid-already AD is taking to his reputation.
