LCA students helped organise a brilliant book-themed Easter Egg Hunt for our JCSP students in the library today 📚🍫🐣💫 There were chocolate treats, bookish trivia, an Easter Egg raffle, a golden egg trophy & a visit from the Easter Bunny 🐰🤩 JCSP Library Project Clogher Road Community College

Today our students & staff marked #WearRedDay to celebrate diversity & inclusion, and to Give Racism the Red Card ❗️🛑 We had a special red-themed lunch in the library and some of students wrote acrostic poems on ALLYSHIP🤗❤️

And to round off the term, winners of our Easter Reading Challenge received their prizes 🥚🍫🥳 Students were racking up points right up to the deadline, with the overall winner reading over 50 books in the series 😲👏📚 Well done everyone👏👏👏

I've opened 4 new or renovated school libraries this school season, including the wonderful new library @stmarysdorsetst I can fit in one more Dublin library opening before the end of term. I LOVE libraries and I do all I can to support them and to support children's reading.
