Big day for the throwers! Colt Jamison scored 4 points for the team. Max scored 18 points for the team. Max was the runner-up in Shot and won Disc. The Astros saw Kam Hooley win the Junior High League Championship in Disc and Max Gulley win the High School League title in disc.

Football is a game. Football can and should be fun.

This right here is the poisoning of a generation of athletes. AAU Basketball, Travel Baseball, Club Volleyball, etc. are cancerous to youth athletics. Kids need breaks from a sport. You shouldn't be playing a single sport all year. Do multiple sports! Even if it's "just for fun".

Parents: Let your kids control their sports journey. Stop yelling at them. Stop coaching from the stands. Stop making them watch tape with you. Let their coaches coach, and you be mom or dad. You aren’t going to change their destiny by what you say. ~ via @DavidPollack47

Results oriented thinking is the plague of sports fans. Process oriented thinking shows exactly this. We called this play, did this thing, coached this technique for the correct reason. Sometimes, they also do things correctly. You cant base all decisions off of results.
