There’s no denying this Labour government has made mistakes (and I hope they learn quickly) but the difference it makes to have adults trying to work in the best interest of the country rather than their own self interest and cronies.

We’re all not going to agree with every signing but, I think we are all agreed that we’ve not been in such a strong position for positive change in a long time. Trust the process, trust Moyes and back whoever we sign. Moyes will get the best out of our players.

So we’re meant to listen to former Tory MPs who broke this country, when they say that the country is broken, that it was broken by the party they led and that they can fix it (in a new party)? I don’t think so!

I subtitled this from Emmanuel Macron because no UK politician has ever said, or indeed would DARE say this so clearly (most notably Labour) for fear of offending Brexit voters It was Brexit which CAUSED the small boats problem by ditching all existing legal EU/UK frameworks

Why is the BBC platforming the far right all the time,I don't care what Farage thinks about the boats,he is a compulsive liar and the BBC have him on every news outlet.I do not pay my licence to constantly hear from a lying.gimmicky, dangerous liar.

The greatest illusion of #Brexit was that ALL of the issues in the country would be solved by leaving the EU when the real problem was the Tory govt all along. Thanks #DavidCameron, #BorisJohnson & #NigelFarage...you've ruined the country & emboldened the far right bigots.

French president Emmanual Macron has slammed Brexit for making it harder to fight illegal immigration. He spoke at a press conference today alongside PM Keir Starmer, as part of a three-day visit to the country.

Tobi (@tobifrenzen) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Are we ready to hear some hard truths about #Brexit from the French President? 🇫🇷 Just kidding! Let's cut that out of the 6 and 10 o'clock news! But we must make time to show clips from GBNEWS of Nigel Farage pointing at boats in the English Channel... UK media at their finest!

You had 14 yrs Sir Jake Berry, you had hundreds of MPs, you had an 80 seat majority. You could have done so much, you delivered so little. Now, here you are, the latest to sell your soul. There is much broken that needs reforming, but the last thing this country needs is you & Reform

What no-one is saying on #BBCBreakfast is that when we were in the EU, we could return asylum seekers to the first EU country they had arrived in. With Brexit, Britain lost that right.

Never forget that Farage👇did more than anyone else to create the "small boats crisis" He got the UK to vote itself out of the existing EU returns agreement - and more generally trash international cooperation and trust which, after a decade, is finally being rebuilt, bit by bit

Incredible to think that the man who enabled this to happen, is now complaining about it happening. This is regrettably the world we now live in where grifters/fraudsters are not held to account so can operate without challenge. What happened to our political system and media?

Unhinged. This man routed the Tory party and continues to do damage. A wise leader would’ve kicked him and Truss out and drawn a line. The fact that his godawful hard Brexit caused immigration legal & illegal to soar is almost by the by. Shameless.

What the hypocrite has omitted from his article is that before the Brexit he sold his soul for, the UK could return asylum seekers to the first EU country they arrived in as it was in the EU. Under Johnson, we lost that right.
