What if the Stacks are a preserved memory or Platonic eidos (eternal idea and essence) of this destroyed library? Or... what if it wasn't destroyed in the version where Speaks was the one who survived, and what if THAT library is now the Stacks (and is itself an Apocrypha)?

Good thing Mandrake is a separate world. My FL OC can pay debts in moonlight's silver and in poetry. She can trade a dream for a flower that opens the gates of hell. She can give you a book that hasn't yet been written. These dreadful words "prefers cash" would horrify her.
