There’s reviewing anatomy, and then there’s a week of hands-on cadaver lab with Will Brooks, PhD showing you all the head and neck structures you can’t dissect out yourself. No substitute for the real thing. Good luck to all the MS2s on the MSK gauntlet!

Unbelievable news. A push back against a devastating diagnosis often ignored by trials like these because it affects those without the resources required to fight it. Dr. Farmer would be proud

One of the unique "joys" of medical school they don't tell you about is that every now and then they pull you from an afternoon of seeing real patients to go see fake patients, who are in fact perfectly healthy And if you're lucky, expect results in 2-3 business months

Expect tip-off to be 15 minutes later than scheduled as fans from both schools are sure to be delayed outside the gym telling each other where they went to undergrad

In isolation from other risk factors for local recurrence, select patients with low- to intermediate- grade parotid and submandibular gland cancers who have close surgical margins may be safely considered for observation. ja.ma/3uQ0BMZ

Need this in residency man… “He’s going for his 100th flex scope of the month tonight for a 15 Uncrustable Bonus! If he were to sew up 10 face lacs he’ll add another $20 in Starbucks store credit!”

Such a great point here particularly because it’s coming from one of the best educators I encountered in medical school UAB Heersink School of Medicine. Thanks for persevering through the Step 1 pain, Dr. Rosenblum!
