“Memories are so important to help children and young people continue the bond between them and the person who has died. Children and young people often worry about forgetting the person who has died so this is a great way to help them with their grief process. “

We felt privileged to be involved. Thank you for having us HSE Dublin South, Kildare & West Wicklow 🙏🏻 Following the #HereForYou campaign, many bereaved parents reached out for support & are now engaging in our support services. Sometimes that first step is the toughest step....

After someone important dies, there will be lots of things that you want to remember about them. A Memory Box is a special way to remember the person who has died. You can ask your child to decorate it and put their favourite things in it that remind them of their loved one.

At the Centre, we help children express their emotions & make sure that the child’s difficult emotional experiences were validated. This enables children to become comfortable in expressing how they are feeling and it helps them navigate and manage their emotions.

We are so delighted that today, we can reopen our doors for in-persons appointments for children and young people affected by loss. ⭐️ "She is happier in herself and is getting more enjoyment out of life. It haas shown here that it's okay to ask for help" This is what matters

It’s worth thinking about, do you know where the closest Defibrillator is to you now? To your local sports club? Would you know what to do with one? First aid courses are available, they are free and they save lives.

From our recent survey asking about the impact of the pandemic on bereavement support services in Ireland many expressed concern that as support for bereaved children had to be suspended there may be a large unmet need with limited services to respond.
