Hello. Just to let you know that I’m one of the contributors to this bit of frivolous Channel 5 fun. I’m reliably told it is being screened this evening from 10pm., so if you do settle down to watch I really hope you enjoy it. Love Tony x

Wishing the happiest of birthdays to Helen Lederer; the kindest, maddest, funniest friend anyone could ever hope for. This is from a few years ago when we were both young and beautiful. Helen hasn’t changed a bit. I love her dearly. Tony x

I should have been The Cinema Museum this evening for Saturday Night at the Movies: an in-depth chat with Robert Ross about my film career - from Carry On to The Crying Game - and to introduce a screening of Peter’s Friends. We are looking at another date. See you there? 🎬 x

If you missed the Edinburgh Fringe as much as we all did, then you might be interested in an hour of improv. that I performed with Allan Lear last year. The link to watch the show will go Live over the weekend. It’s yours if you throw a fiver into our virtual bucket. Love, Tony x

Wishing Paul McGann a very happy birthday. He’ll always be five days younger than me! We had so many laughs making the Screen Two film Drowning in the Shallow End. A few years later he just pipped me to the post for the role of Doctor Who. Quite right too. He’s a wonderful actor.

Thank you, Annie. Quite a few of you have suggested the same. It’s extremely flattering. This is to alert the BBC that, just as soon as the brilliant Jodie Whittaker decides to leave, I’m raring to go! 🤪🎬 #DoctorWho Doctor Who News @Doctorwhouknews Doctor Who #TimeLordTony 👽

A real joy of writing a memoir is unearthing treasures from my old boxes. This was a pastiche of the famous Carl Lewis advertising campaign for the Pirelli tire company. The full story will be in the book. Suffice to say it’s proof positive that I will do anything to get a laugh!

Very fond memories of filming Peter’s Friends - and lots of those memories will be in the book! I know many of you love the film. Hard to believe that it was in cinemas exactly twenty-eight years ago. What are your favourite scenes? 🎬

A very Happy Birthday to #CoronationStreet: 60 today. I was thrilled to walk on those cobbles, as Eric Talford. I’m clearly going for mean and moody here! Such gloriously happy memories - they will be in the book! - and I’m always very happy to return Coronation Street Place your bets!
