Some shots illustrating the hard work being done by our fantastic volunteers on our Kent site. Walls, robber trenches, and foundations.

Howdy! Iā€™m Hannah, and Iā€™m thrilled to say that Iā€™m interning at Isle Heritage for the next 3 months. I recently graduated from TXST with a BA (Hons) in Anthropology and Iā€™m excited to expand my skill set to include archeology during this time! Cheers!

So yesterday, with the help of our fantastic team of volunteers, Isle Heritage lifted the lead coffin that we had previously identified at our Priory site in Kent. The coffin is believed to date between to the late 1400 to early 1500s and has a distinct anthropoid shape.
