your mind makes you feel small to keep you where you are — to keep you safe. but when you focus on all of the ways things *could* work out for you (instead of contracting into what you’re afraid of), you can tap into the courage to trust yourself, and to do something new.

dare to see yourself as grandly as those around you do

self-doubt is a distraction from what is naturally unfolding. any idea you have, any vision for what your life could look like, is not meant to put additional pressure on you. it’s a glimpse at what is to come. trust that your task is to focus on where you are and stay the course

being kind, supportive, and encouraging to those around you — ESPECIALLY those taking risks, betting on themselves, doing something courageous and bold — is one of the simplest, easiest, most impactful ways to ripple change throughout the world. make those around you feel seen.

growth is when what used to make you cringe now makes you feel inspired

you can only express yourself as fully as you tolerate the expression of others. if you cringe, resist or contract when someone shows you a part of them—or is willing to be authentic and expressive—that same level of expression is exactly where you will find yourself stagnating.
