To finish the conference, a video display of blue carbon habitats (courtesy of Into the Oceanic) was projected onto the side of Royal Society of Edinburgh . I can say for certain that I was not the only one standing across the road awestruck by this display. Shoutout to Into the Oceanic ! 👏
We’re excited to hear more from Dr Gary Husband & curators of #PointsofReturn during a Screening Event at The Umbrella on 10th June. ‘Into the Oceanic’ will be presented on two stages within the gallery. More soon.
Our next outreach event will be on 10th June The Umbrella in Concord, MA, USA; as part of #PointsofReturn. During a day dedicated to the educational entry points of environmental art—with a focus on underwater habitats—the 2 films which form Into the Oceanic will be screened.
