REMINDER: Bike lanes in TORONTO were approved and funded by LOCALLY ELECTED municipal councillors. The provincial government, almost exclusively comprised of MPPs who do not live anywhere near Toronto, attempted to overrule this exercise in democracy.

Japan, one of the first Trump victims to agree to a β€œframework” tariff deal, just got slapped with another 15% on top of the agreed framework tariff. There is no stability in any of the β€œdeals”. Thanks Mark Carney for not agreeing to any deal until there is a binding one.

Ontario has the lowest costs for hip replacements. Why would the Ford government move to much more expensive for-profit hip surgeries? To allow the wealthiest Ontarians to bypass wait lists. Costs will balloon & wait lists will grow but the most affluent will buy speedy access.

Alex is homeless. He lives at the end of my street on a park bench, day after day. He's probably in his 70s. He grew up on Ontario. This is a policy choice. Alex doesn't need to be homeless. We could end this. We have the money - don't let anyone convince you of the opposite.

We have made great strides in rehabilitation post ACL injury. Yet, the best treatment remains prevention! Simple exercise programs could prevent 1 in 2 non-contact ACL injuries. esskajournals.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…

Being Canadian and the colour of your skin have nothing to do with each other. Sad that a rising star young Canadian tennis phenom hears otherwise online. Her accomplishment is brilliant, those talking and commenting about her race are the polar opposite of brilliant.

US hypertension (high blood pressure) guidelines. Step 1 before prescribing ANY meds Weight Loss Healthy Diet Exercise Reduce Alcohol Stop Smoking Stress Management The idea that doctors IGNORE root causes and just prescribe drugs? SIMPLY NOT TRUE!!

Thomas LeBosquet I'm unsure why we keep seeing reviews asking the same question. We know that the biggest benefit is from getting people least active doing a bit more. We need to focus on behavioural change studies rather than asking the same question that multiple previous reviews have answered.

From a post My doctor told me I have six months to live and the first thing I did was start building this greenhouse because I refuse to spend my last spring watching TV. Stage 4 pancreatic cancer, they said. "Get your affairs in order." My husband wanted me to rest, take it

This is horrific. Stray bullet kills a child sleeping in his own bed in Toronto. How can we stop the flow of guns into Canada? Thats a border issue we should be concerned about. cbc.ca/news/canada/to…
