Been up all night reworking stats for a R&R. The Stats Gods humbled me tonight in the worst possible way: a bunch of cool findings got wiped out 1) by using a more appropriate covariance matrix for my mixed models, and 2) correcting for a .05 FDR. FML 😔 #activateImposterSyndrome

Can't wait to see so many of my research buds IRL again. Gonna be a great conference...come hang out and drink margaritas with us!

I'm a proud research papa AND grandpa today. My current 2nd year doc student split 1st place at the Combat PTSD Conference poster competition with my former doctoral student's undergrad, who will probably be joining my lab next year. These rockstars will have our jobs one day.

This is the face of a newly-minted Doctor! My third doctoral student finally successfully dragged me across the finish line. Super proud of her.
