No svg for Hindi to English (and vice versa) found. So had to create the icon on my own. Using Indian languages in a game requires a lot of creation from scratch, that's why we don't see it often. #godot #blender #indiangame

Alright! Desktop export is now working. Properly changing language for a VN was surprisingly complicated. Had to deal with 5 different scenarios Finally done! Time to move to sharing and testing internally: the first Indian VN game! #indiegame #indiangame #HindiDiwas

Taking a day off from coding after months of coding the VN engine on Godot. So today am doing 'market research' by playing other Visual Novel Games. Market research in this industry is fun.

Finally, the internal test is live on Steam Looking forward to a round of user tests now :) 🙏

Found out that my invited testers are on Mac only. Now, have to restart the exporting procedure and upload the Mac version of the game on Steam. That's another couple of days gone. Sigh.

Today was the day for making a draft for the launch page. Game launch is 5-6 months away, but there are just so many things that have to be done before that! This was one of the rough drafts which won't be used in marketing, but I kind of like the moodiness of it.

Kickstarter draft page got auto-approved. Not publishing it live so far, will need to make a lot of changes. The first element for it: a proper trailer. Now starting to work on that trailer. Step 1: Trailer script - Done ✅ Step 2: Videos - next Step 3: Editing and music mix

Scratch that. Read the script out aloud and realized it is longer than I had expected. Will need to cut and cut and cut.

Currently testing it among players - people we randomly approach in a crowd and offer reward for their time and feedback. It's a pretty interesting process to see something we're familiar with from the eyes of somebody else. We keep learning new things!
