We thank IRC - International Rescue Committee & Sweden in Somalia for their vital support in our advocacy for the FGM Bill. Your partnership was key to the success of our legal seminars in Southwest State, Mogadishu, and Galmudug. We deeply appreciate your commitment to protecting women/girls in Somalia.

With support from UNFPASomalia, we used SASA!Together to lead a community dialogue with #InstitutionalAllies in Mogadishu on preventing GBV. The session emphasized the importance of shifting power, promoting dignity & driving real change by strengthening institutional protocols


With support from UNFPASomalia, we engaged community/religious leaders in #Jowhar through SASA! Together model, leading community-led dialogue sessions to challenge harmful gender norms & promote positive change. We are fostering respect & building a future free from violence.


With support from UNFPA Somalia, Local community activists in Dharkenley, Mogadishu held a community dialogue session using #SASA!Together model. The session focused on the health consequences of #FGM & featured an educational video on ending this harmful practice. #EndFGM #SASA


Through #SASA! Together model, local community activists in #Jowhar organized community-led dialogue sessions focused on the physical, emotional & psychological consequences of rape,while challenging the harmful norms & silence that enable such violence to persist.UNFPASomalia

Community leaders in #Dharkenley took part in a #SASATogether session on intimate partner violence(IPV), promoting respect, equality & healthy relationships. Supported by UNFPASomalia & KOICA Kenya Office, the session promotes healthy relationships & challenges harmful social norms.
