As COVID cases *quadrupled* at UGA , here's the trend in Athens/Clarke County, where UGA sits. Notice the last few days. UGA doesn't live in a bubble, and Athens has very high poverty and comorbidity rates. Our blindness = their death. We *must* pivot to online. Now!

Tried out cemetery birding (a la LeVar Birdin) -- amazing! Serene, yet buzzing with bird activity. So many yellow-rumped warblers flitting among fall leaves 🍂🐦👻

Wasn't sure what to expect, but definitely enjoyed the round table at #SOVE2022! Useful small group discussions and reflection on a wide range of talks related to VBD in a changing world!
