Yes, that could be argued, but you'd struggle to show why letting same sex attracted people commit to each other openly would make everything rotten. Imaginary counterfactual scenarios & slippery slope "BUT THEN PEOPLE WILL MARRY DOGS" arguments won't cut it.

Well, we can't go back and change our minds about what the evolution of postmodern thought into wokeness looks like now & unpublish our writings & books on the subject so nobody notices that the same mentality & epistemology also apply to elements of the right.

Well, no, that's not how we defined it & if we had understood it that way, we'd never have got anything published in their journals and been able to show what the problem was and how it worked, because there's a bit more to it than that re: mentality & epistemology.
