So privileged to work with and alongside a group of thoughtful and amazing scientists WashU Medicine as part of the WASHU cilia Research Group with our fearless leaders Susan Dutcher and Steven Brody, and motile cilia group Amjad Horani and Moe Mahjoub π¨π¦π .
Major congratulations to my good friend, colleague and mentor Susan Dutcher Susan Dutcher for being elected to the National Academy of Sciences! πΎ A much deserved recognition of an incredible scientist who's made giant contributions to our understanding of #cilia biology ππ
I am proud of Nicholas Hadas, a talented bioinformatician Amjad Horani WashU Medicine (and a future PhD candidate) for winning first place in predictive analytics with his group, at the The CAIDF Hackathon in Chicago.
Celebrating Susan Dutcher WashU Medicine for her amazing accomplishment #NAS with the #WashUcilia. Great scientists, great friends, and great cooks : )
The whole WashU cilia group got together for a BBQ to celebrate Susan Susan Dutcher election to the #NAS π Good weather, great food, and better company! π»

I'm pleased to share this work now published in PLOS Biology! Since our preprint, we've uncovered exciting new links connecting CCDC66 to actin, vesicular trafficking, and Wnt signaling, and revealed how these contribute to CCDC66's ciliary functions. See link below!
Equally great presentation by Amjad Horani at #ERSCongress highlighting the unified ERS/ATS PCD diagnostic guidelines
