Coastgaurd Rescue Officers along with our rescue helicopter assisted Tayside, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Amb SORT and RNLI in Perth this afternoon/evening following reports of a possible person in the River Tay. After a full & extensive search, nothing was found.

Officers from Arbroath & Dundee we’re tasked yesterday to reports of a suspicious object near Barry. It was located and thought to be an old 50kg bomb. It was guarded by officers until saftely detonated this morning by Royal Navy EOD officers
Earlier today officers from Dundee were tasked to investigate a deer that may have become trapped with the incoming tide at Riverside Dr. With assistance from Dundee Airport fire service, a young fawn was located and escorted to safe ground.
Coastie Chris along with our helicopter, RNLI & assisted by Tayside & Scottish Amb SORT were tasked last night to reports of a person in the water. Unfortunately following an intensive search, a deceased male was recovered at West Ferry. Our thoughts go out to his family.
