Packing for our Hillhead High School Gold The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award overnight training event. Many pupils have never slept in a tent before with their Bronze expeditions being urban walks. To give them the best chance of success at Gold we are spending the night in Arrochar followed by a summit of 3 hills.

55km walked in 4 days with full expedition packs including a scramble over the infamous saddle which many seasoned walkers avoid. All 10 pupils have successfully completed the expedition. Now a beach day and BBQ tomorrow before the ferry home and then the presentation.
