Just learned via Top Flight Time Machine that it was the late Dave Myers of Hairy Bikers, in his days as a make-up artist, who first painted the white stripe across Adam Ant’s nose, and it’s my new favourite piece of pop trivia. This makes him the Chelita Secunda of the 80s. (Look it up.)
