In 2023, Rep. Amy Perruso introduced a bill to limit increases landlords can impose during lease renewal. Landlords would have to provide relocation assistance to tenants being forced to move if a lease is not renewed. The bill died without a hearing. civilbeat.org/2024/07/an-oah…
