Hawklets show their strength in the 800m at the S.M. North Relays! (L) Bill Hayes '25 drops a new PR of 1:52.88 to finish 2nd in the loaded field! Bill now holds the fastest time in MO this season. (R) Andrew Davis '25 places 5th at 1:53.97, and now has #3 time in MO. Rock State!

This was so awesome to see these three run great strategic races.

And a huge shoutout to Jack McGovern '28, who finished 10th in the Class 5 1600m! As the lone freshman in the race, Jack ran a new PR of 4:15.63! That makes Jack the 2nd fastest freshman in the 1600m in MO history, and the 6th fastest FR in the country this year! Way to go, Jack!

HAWKLETS TAKE THE TOP SPOTS!!!! 🥇🥈 Bill Hayes '25 is the Class 5 STATE CHAMPION in the 800m with a new PR of 1:52.56!! Andrew Davis '25 right behind his teammate for 2nd Place in 1:54.08! And Jake Bond '26 finishes 6th in 1:55.37! Hawklets with 21 big points! ROCK STATE!!

Podium Pals! Our favorite shot of the day was this MSHSAA 📸 of our 3 Hawklets after crossing the finish line in the 800m. Bill Hayes ’25 in 1st, Andrew Davis ’25 in 2nd, and Jake Bond ’26 in 6th. These Hawklets have pushed each other to greatness in XC and T&F! Rock State!

Left their mark as the best 4x800 team in Missouri history! ✔️ Two-time 4x8 State Champs ✔️ State Record (7:33.83) ✔️ 2025 Penn Relays Champs ✔️ Current time in the country in 2025 All four will be back on the track this afternoon to try add to Hawklets' team score. Rock State!

Hawklets add 8 big points in the 3200m! Henry Acorn '25 with another All-State performance, coming through in 4th Place in 9:09.10! Jack McGovern '25, who we believe is the first freshman individual qualifier in school history, is also All-State in 6th Place in 9:14.97!

CLASS 5 STATE CHAMPS!! For the 3rd time in school history, and first time since 1976, RHS wins T&F State Title! A complete team effort from our athletes, led by Head Coach Troy Harding and staff: Coaches Dierks, Dobens, McAnany, Melton, Haddad, Monteil,& Marshall! ROCK STATE!

Congrats to Henry Acorn '25, our Charlie Hooper's Lew's Grill and Bar & Fahey Construction AOTW! Henry repeated as State Champ in the 1600 (4:05.42); anchored the 4x800 Relay (7:40.91) - also 2x State Champs. And 4th Place in 3200 (9:09.10) helped RHS win the Team Title! Rock State!

Last evening Festival of Miles was such an impressive event at SLUH. Some incredible national and Missouri runners. So proud of two Hawklets for lacing it up in the full mile: Jack McGovern sub 4:18; Henry Acorn 4:05.55. Their growth and character is incredible! Thx SLUH XC and Track

These four young men have never stopped trying to get 1% better each day. You guys ROCK!
