1/ As generative AI models improve, it's becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate between AI- and human-generated content. Can cryptography and blockchains solve the authenticity challenge and help restore trust on the Internet? Summary below 🧵 equilibrium.co/writing/blockc…

Is ZK-MPC-FHE-TEE a real creature? In this article, we will briefly review several suggested privacy-related abbreviations, their strong points, and their constraints. And after that, we’ll think about whether someone will benefit from combining them or not:

What many fail to grasp is that the zk market is going to grow for the next 1-2 decades. There simply is nothing else that can scale decentralized technologies beyond a well optimized re-execution structure.

What does it take to build a foundational L1 engineered to generate ZK proofs at scale? In the latest episode of Zero Knowledge Podcast Zero Knowledge Podcast, our Head of Product, Norbert Vadas breaks down: • The proof supply chain, • How prover networks and marketplaces evolved,

There are many good EIR programs, but believe the Equilibrium differs in two main ways: 1. Deep technical expertise & understanding of tech stacks across ecosystems 2. Full focus on experimenting, building, and prototyping. No distractions. Sounds interesting? Reach out!

Demand for privacy comes from use cases where: 1. Cost of transparency is high (e.g. regulatory reasons) 2. Direct financial benefit (e.g. avoiding frontrunning) 3. High friction for collaboration (e.g. joint training on private data)

Hard not to be optimistic on crypto-powered capital formation and blockchains in the long term. End users fully unaware of what's going on in the background, they just benefit from better coverage (and potentially cheaper pricing).

Online dating is an obvious use case for "provably human" (covered in our recent report: x.com/hammyx_/status…) No one wants to chat with a bot unknowingly, thinking it's a real person. Expect more companies to follow World's lead.

The market for verifiable inference is expected to grow by several orders of magnitude, with demand coming from both web2 and web3 use cases. This post provides an overview of the current market and teams working on this problem 🧭

Pretty crazy that Wise is still blocking payments to/from crypto exchanges. Weren't fintechs supposed to be pro-innovation? 🙄

Here's a Reflection: Most inference APIs today are unverifiable. Quantized, pruned, fine-tuned, or outright swapped. Verifiable inference isn't a luxury, it's the only way to trust the output. Good writeup on the current state of approaches by Hannes

Even though Firestarter is being sunset, we keep on proving for projects. We generated 450,000 proofs since April for Ethereum mainnet, and we’ll continue to generate ZK proofs for networks such as Ethereum, Aztec, and others, and for zkVMs like SP1 and R0VM. You can track the
