It’s Full Council Day at Glasgow City Council 📆 I’m delighted to secure confirmation from Cllr Christina Cannon that Glasgow will be rolling out free school meals to *all* primary school children - thanks to Scottish Greens securing £80m of funding for FSM expansion in the Scottish budget 🍽️🥗🥕

Incredible that Glasgow Labour Group have voted *against* Foster Care Workers Union, a branch of the IWGB union recognition for some of Glasgow’s carers today Glasgow Green Party councillors have been raising the voices of foster & kinship carers for years - for kids to be cared for properly, their carers need fair allowances ✊

Delighted that Cllr Roza Salih 's motion has passed unanimously, including our Green amendment supporting free Bus Travel for those seeking asylum. 🚌 💚 Dignity in work, living, & socialising for all 🧡

Shameful behavior from City of Glasgow College Students stand in solidarity with lecturers in full knowledge of the importance of these strikes. Crossing a picket line is an absolute no go for many students!

solidarity with EIS-FELA CoGC ✊

It's June, which means it's #PrideMonth🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️ The Scottish Greens are the only party in Scotland that is committed to progressing the rights of all LGBTQIA+ folk. We want to ensure that all young LGBTQIA+ people are supported, protected & able to truly feel pride in who they are.

Solidarity with the 13thnotecafe workers Unite Hospitality in the face of this disgusting attempt at union busting intimidation just days after a historic vote for strike action It didn't take long for the employer's mask to slip We're with you every step of the way! ✊️

The Scottish Greens internal election ballot opens tomorrow (19th July). There are 17 members of the Scottish Young Greens up for election! Members can read statements and vote on the website: members.greens.scot

Hiya George Redmond Glasgow Labour, just heard you mention at full council that "there's no minister for local government" Can you explain what this is?
