Tata steelworkers in South Wales have voted decisively for industrial action over Tata Steel UK's plan to close its blast furnaces and cut 2,800 jobs.
Dates for strike action scheduled to cause maximum impact will be announced soon.
6 weeks ago, Glasgow City Council announced new parking rules which would have cost people £££s.
Alongside The Scottish Hospitality Group & others we wrote to GCC outlining impact on workers & small businesses.
GCC now saying this will be delayed until at least 2025.
It should be scrapped altogether.

Businesses built upon exploitation deserve to fail.
Sorry UKHospitality but paying people the wages they are legally entitled to isn’t a “cost headwind” or “perfect storm”, it is what puts food on 4million worker’s table.
If the businesses you lobby for can’t afford the legal minimum wage then they shouldn’t be in business.

Let this be a lesson from Unite Hospitality to dodgy employers in our sector. If you fail to pay, ignore proper processes and don't fulfil your obligations as an employer, we will beat you at tribunal.
