Trained to spot common & acute problems and act via protocols. Ask a fourth year about anaemia in CKD, they may use their knowledge to explain the pathology & suggest EPO supplements. Caesarnotsalad Leon Rozewicz 🎗️ Clare Gerada 𝗗𝗿 𝗔𝗷𝗮𝘆 𝗠 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗮 NHS England Royal College of Physicians Partha S Kar 🇮🇳🇬🇧🏏🎥 Louella Vaughan I agree re ACP vs a 4/5 MS / PA. Knowledge is different from experience tho. Medskl , in every aspect, is about gaining knowledge alongside experience to consolidate comprehension. Exp comes with practice. Neither an ACP / PA is trained to the equivalent knowledge.

ASiT The Royal College of Surgeons of England The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Glasgow RCSI GMC JCST CoPSS NHS England Workforce, Training and Education I have met an ODP student who told me they want to progress into a SCP role asap so they can do the fun stuff. When I told them they should’ve gone to medical school if they wanted to be a surgeon they looked shocked. What has the profession come to?
