When you listen to the prevarication of Keir Starmer and his ministers on a basic point of international law we need to be ruthlessly honest and recognise that effectively our country has been rendered up as a Trump colony.

A funny thing about Starmer is he always goes like 30% more craven than he strictly needs to. He could have easily thrown in some language about concerns and what message this sends without coming across too antagonistic, but his default is to cave even when he doesn’t have to.
