As we continue to prepare for the new school year ahead, all teachers, including T’s serving students w/ disabilities, are engaging in robust professional learning! As one example, SAI TOSA & COSA Megan Gross & nancy brundrett led a session today on fostering relationships virtually.

Great to see 35 Poway Unified Secondary Special Educators getting trained in SIPPS+/Challenge today. Building our capacity in reading instruction, intervention, and acceleration.

This AM, we welcomed 76 educators to #TeamPUSD during (virtual) New Teacher Day 👋 The 2020-21 school year is right around the corner & will look different. But we're confident that our newest teachers will create culture & conditions to support our world class learners. #excited

No surprise seeing students and staff interacting at newly announced National Blue Ribbon School Park Village ES this afternoon. Re-establishing schedules and routines will take some time, but students and staff are clearly glad to be back and working live together! Poway Unified
