Motorists who are caught on camera carelessly close passing cyclists in South Wales will avoid receiving warning letters for the foreseeable future, the police have confirmed, due to the overwhelming amount of footage currently being submitted. road.cc/content/news/c…

Us cyclists must do better …. We must protect pedestrians and give way to them …. I see this behavior on a daily basis … We must do better …

If you’re wondering why U.K drivers kill around 100 cyclists and 400 people just walking down the street every year, perhaps part of the reason is the MASSIVE TVs PLACED IN FRONT OF THE WINDSCREEN?

"Water companies ‘to impose surge pricing’ in summer." Oh dearie me, it's finally come to this. In an attempt to deflect from their own greed, incompetence and mismanagement water companies have come up with what they no doubt will think is an utterly brilliant strategy, blame

Does anyone know anything about the black Mercedes which has been driving at speed with an incredibly loud exhaust along Calabria Road/Corsica Street/Liberia Road through the last few nights? If it’s not keeping the entire neighbourhood awake, I’d be astonished. Islington Police

How is this acceptable, WeTransfer? You’re not a free service, I *pay* you to shift my big artwork files. I DON’T pay you to have the right to use them to train AI or print, sell and distribute my artwork and set yourself up as a commercial rival to me, using my own work.😡

Want to get away with murder? Hit them with a car. You might get away with claiming it was an accident, but, even if convicted, the sentence will be a fraction of that you'd get if you used ANY other weapon.

Initially I was somewhat sympathetic to the drivers striking this "rogue kerb" damaging their cars, but after seeing how well it's protecting the pedestrian space I'd argue we need *MANY MORE* of these! For your consideration Caroline Russell Islington Council share.google/AcBShOzGXhsO7e…

Well that's odd. 24 hours ago The Westmorland Gazette posted a story about swimmers getting sick while taking part in the Great North Swim on Windermere. Apparently sewage was being dumped into the lake at the time. 1 day later the article has disappeared from their website.

"Water companies enforcing hosepipe bans leak over one billion litres of water a day." Yep, you can't water your plants but they get to leak over 1,000,000,000 litres of water per day from their badly maintained, underinvested, cracked old network of pipes. Ho hum.

About bloody time! How could they leave such an obvious loophole? One would think our legislators are incompetent or something?!?

To cycle single file and on the left here is bad cycling. This lane is too narrow to share with a car. It tempts bad drivers to squeeze through like this driver does.
