When #ArthurBeale closed its chandlery in London's Covent Garden in 2021 it transitioned to an e-commerce model. This week it has started offering equity via #crowdfunding, first to 'members of its community' and a general public stage will come later (if there's any equity left)

It's pretty mild for mid-September at the moment courtesy of southwesterly winds from the Atlantic But a shift to northerly winds this weekend will bring colder conditions into next week 📉

Last Sunday's Novice Helms Race had 9 entries including 5 totally new to racing at #GYC: Xenon, Rochelle, Puffin of Dart, C-Moon and Viane (just back from a Round Britain cruise!). Fast fleet winner, Timandra Harkness on LoFlyer. Slow fleet winner, Serena Gain on Puffin of Dart.

Congratulations to the #Greenwich Yacht Club rowing team in the 21.6 miles of the #GreatRiverRace. They were 194th this year out of 267 boats. Each year they get better and better, and 2025 is a best-ever result. And they also fundraised for the RNLI.
