We have been working hard with partners and volunteer groups to free the Bedford Ouse from Pennywort. Floating pennywort is an invasive aquatic plant which forms dense mats that clog up rivers. As you can see by the pics, our hard work has paid off 😀

Rather magical encounter with a pair of Otters at Priory Country park, Bedford. Couldn’t work out what was hissing at me, then spotted them, about ten feet away. The dogs just sat there, dumbstruck by these strange creatures! Isn’t nature brilliant….
