Miserable weather at Nursery is the perfect recipe for fun! 💦 we’ve pulled out some buckets and containers and started to collect raindrops... then we noticed the lovely noise they make when they land! Then it was time for our wellies to splash in the puddles 💦 #nurseryfun

Our elf brought something special this morning - a Santa cam so Santa can join in with all our festivities at Nursery! Our elf said Santa has especially enjoyed listening to our wonderful Christmas songs 🎅🎵🎶 we’re trying extra hard to be nice and kind to each other now too! ✨

It’s been a busy week for our elf! ✨ On Monday we came into our board covered in toilet paper! He brought us a Santa cam, built himself a house with sticklebricks and got himself all stuck in sellotape while doing some Christmas wrapping! 🎁 it’s time for a rest this weekend! 😴

We’re having lots of festive fun for our last week at Nursery! 🎄we’re playing Christmas number games, making gingerbread playdough, threading beads on candy canes and making festive pictures! 🎅🌟🎄 Nursery is full of excitement this morning 😃✨ #nurserychristmas

Nursery have followed the adventures of this pesky elf the whole time... we were VERY alarmed this morning to find out he’d been in our Nursery and mud kitchen this time! ✨We’ve searched for him all day... but no luck! We’ll be sending an email back to Santa! 🎅✨ GrangeFirstSchool

ELF UPDATE! Good news Everyone! On his visit to school our friend Kris Kringle tracked the mischievous pest down to the kitchen and persuaded him to come back to the North Pole! We have a CCTV photo of them flying away! We wonder if he will be back next year? 🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄

Today we have had some very special visitors arrive! We don’t know what’s inside the eggs yet, we’re making predictions! 🥚 We’ll be spending the next couple of days exploring and investigating; finding out what animals come from eggs and if any of their eggs look like the ours!

Today our egg investigation began! We sorted our suggestions into those that lay eggs and those that don’t 🥚 We looked at the eggs each animal lays and noticed that the chicken eggs look the most similar to ours - they were the right size and colour, but we still weren’t sure!

Before the grown-ups left today, we noticed some little cracks in some of our eggs! 🥚We think they might hatch while we’re away so we set up a special wildlife camera and a video in the hope we won’t miss all the action through the night 🤞 #earlyyears #realexperiences #utw
