Looking back on a highlight from my last visit to India in 2018: meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since then, the robust relationship between Texas and India has only grown. India is now Texas’ 11th-largest trading partner.

Kicked off another great day in Mumbai with a visit to Larsen & Toubro's campus. We toured their Naik School, which focuses on preparing children for the future demands of our changing world. Following the tour, I met with company leaders to discuss their presence in Texas.

India and Texas share a passion for sports. Last year, Texas welcomed Major League Cricket and the National Cricket League, both of which have a presence and teams in Dallas. Today, we participated in a jersey swap with the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) and Indian cricket players.
