An animation test for a pitch I worked on several years ago with Carlos Huante, animated by Greg Jonkajtys. It was for the band Garbage. The project didn’t happen but I got to meet Shirley Manson and she was so cool in person. We did this in a couple of days…incredibly rushed.

Trying not to get too hyped up for “Alien: Romulus”, but the positive buzz is unavoidable. Sounds silly but the unfolding Xenomorph hand in the trailer sold me into thinking it’s gonna b good. It was such a creepy n original addition to the classic design.

A full circle moment. I’ve studied and admired the works of the Shifletts since I was but a youngin’. This is such an incredible honor!! I’m excited to share my process…then take a nap after because I am the killer of naps! Hehe

A full circle moment ⭕️ I was introduced to the work of the Shifletts through an issue of Amazing Figure Modeler when I was young. Now I can’t believe I’m doing a livestream with these legends who I’ve studied and admired.

So excited for this. The fx and creature work from what I’ve seen of season 2’s trailers have been so good. I hope they continue this all the way through the Fellowship of the Rings timeframe. I’d love to see a new take on those classic films.
