20's Plenty for Us What an incredible year it has been, with communities being transformed by 20mph in a way no one ever thought was possible. In Wales we are truly experiencing a ‘Brave New World’ and proud to be at the cutting edge of a road safety revolution that is sweeping the civilised world.

Great that 61 bus between 2 communities (#Tring & #Pitstone/#Ivinghoe), combined pop 16k, now calls at Tring Station from Sept 2nd, may be permanent. Thin publicity so far. Station car park often bursting, £7-10. Lets promote a big #publictransport win Buckinghamshire Council Hertfordshire County Council

Louise Haigh's roads review should force National Highways to focus on road maintenance and climate adaptation, making existing infrastructure more resilient. Instead they blow the roads budget on vanity projects like the £9bn+ Lower Thames Crossing bbc.com/news/videos/c5…

Today, four years on since the #CANBill was first proposed, @DrRozSavageMP will introduce the Climate and Nature Bill in the House of Commons. This is a historic day for the Zero Hour campaign. We’re now, finally, on our way. theguardian.com/business/2024/… Jessica Elgot Sandra Laville

News that The Labour Party is considering making solar panels optional rather than compulsory on new homes, after pressure from housebuilders, is depressing. This should be a no-brainer on the path to NetZero Liberal Democrats

This is a real testament to the vision of Lee Waters in getting this implemented. Nearly everyone benefits Counties in England that are resisting calls for 20mph speed limits in villages, such as East Sussex County Council, should think again
