unpopular, oversimplified opinion: the mention of "AI" inevitably bubbles up some sense of distate within me. AI is NOT new. I guess I get ugh-ed by the hype around it (esp. gen ai), and for the less-meaningful instances that get hyped and 'adopted' in the corporate world.
