Reversed out a lil dual layer circuit board for my Mitutoyo scale. Just some simple buffers but I was curious if I could get even more control of the scale! I gotta get a better microscope camera so I can take better photos of the actual magic on the reader ASIC.

I got my first macro lens and took a photo of a 4.5mm x 3mm die for my linear scale reader. bfa.lk/macro_shot.jpg . One photo, no stacking, no microscope.

Do you enter root with `sudo su` or just prepend `sudo` to every command to admin your box? Also, does anyone know why Twitter only serves me DNS for 1/2 the day? I'll probably lose access after this post. They they hate personal recursive DNS resolvers?

IDA defaulting to *(int*)(v1 + <decimal number>) and all other debugging tools that default to decimal numbers are objectively wrong.

Lucid is alive! it's fuzzing its first real target and found it's first 0day already, an 00B read. had to patch it to keep fuzzing. this + some modifications is going to be blog post 1 in a series about iterating on the fuzzer until it's vastly improved.
