This is your reminder to make sure auto-renew is turned off for things you don't want to renew, even if you never updated your payment method! Think hard about any services you might've had before and forgot to turn off, since some things renew bi-annually and can be overlooked.

Does your school have a nurse? 👩‍⚕️ ⅓ of schools across the country don't, at least not full-time. That leads to more absences, affecting grades; not to mention their health. If your school doesn't have one, advocate for one! And, if they do, advocate for proper pay & support.

Have you seen the flood of Halloween decor at stores already? A lot of places have xmas stuff too! And, every year, people get swept into buying more & more of it... & throwing out last year's stuff, broken or not. As someone who still has ornaments from 1999, I'm horrified 😱

A big, often overlooked part of "reduce, reuse, recycle" is to buy higher quality goods. That may seem anti-frugal, but it's actually a money-saver in the long term. Buying durable goods = buying fewer goods, needing fewer repairs, reusing the same item for a long time, etc.
