It would be a complete neglect of democratic duty by Helen McEntee TD to 'guillotine' discourse over the Hate Speech Bill, as Senator Rónán Mullen highlighted in the Seanad this evening.

Well said by Gerard Casey, our president. There have been countless cases of hate speech laws leading to absurd policing and sentencing outcomes in the UK, yet not one of these pitfalls was considered by the myriad NGOs that the Irish state consulted.
