Next Monday, this room will be (partly) filled with (hopefully) eager 4th-year and MSc students for the first Knowledge Management lecture of the new term. I hope the students are excited about the new term as I am!

A big thank you to Dr Hazel Hall for "donating" a book or two (and then some) to my office collection. Now... do I sort by colour, height, date of first publication... ? So many options!!

I always think non-teaching days (especially when working from home) will mean I can run... clearly, a lesson I've yet to learn.

Nipped into Tesco to get blueberries for breakfast, but accidentally bought 5 jam doughnuts, too. Thankfully, I convinced 3 @ComputingNapier colleagues to each take one, meaning I only have to eat 2. (Yes, I'd have eaten them all otherwise. I've no willpower.)

Everything is ready for the first day of my Knowledge Management module Edinburgh Napier University. Should be great fun with lots of laughter and discussion, and (importantly) a lot of learning!

Preparations for today's Knowledge Management practical are underway here Edinburgh Napier University. Yes, I like to mix up old school tools and activities with current and emerging theory and practice. That's how I roll.

It's "Rocket Science Week" for Knowledge Management here at Edinburgh Napier University. We'll explore KM case studies related to NASA, including the Challenger Disaster. Students get so excited about this lesson plan. Maybe one year I'll manage to get someone from NASA to speak with us!

When 33 of my 34 students show up to a late afternoon Edinburgh Napier University tutorial, and all of them engage with discussions and group tasks, it makes for a very happy day!! #KnowledgeManagement

Asking Knowledge Management students to identify elements of our classroom culture, considering knowledge sharing enablers/barriers (backed by literature), is a great way to get bonus classroom feedback! 🙂
