Green Watch have had a busy night shift ranging from a large fire in Harpenden which is now out, a lift rescue in Watford and a number of smoke alarm activations around the county. We are now preparing to handover to White Watch and will return in 4 days time. Stay safe 👋🚒💚

2303 - Fire Control received a call to a fire in a flat on Cherry Tree Road, Watford. Crews from Garston Fire Station and Watford Fire Station attended. On their arrival the crews found this to be a false alarm #allcallsstartwithcontrol

0026 - Fire Control received a call to a property on Sparrows Herne, Bushey. A crew from Watford Fire Station attended and isolated the water supply #allcallsstartwithcontrol

1001 - Control was made aware of a 90 year old male stuck in a lift in a property in Northwood. Crews from Watford Fire Station are on route to assess and release the male from the lift. #allcallstartwithcontrol

1026 - Control was made aware of a smoke alarm activation to a property in Merry Hill, Bushey. Crews from Watford Fire Station are on route to assess the situation.

1719 - control was made aware of an outbuilding in a garden and fences on fire in a properties in Croxley Green. Crews from RickmansworthFire Watford Fire Station and pauline durham all made attendances and have put the fire out.

1747 - Control was made aware of a small fire in Lady Walk Wood. Crews from Watford Fire Station have put the fire out and are now returning to home station.

19:58 Garston Fire Station and both Watford Fire Station engines were mobilised to Red Lion Close, Aldenham. On arrival crews found 2 outbuildings involved in fire which had spread to an adjacent tree. A hose reel and a jet were used to extinguish the fire #allcallsstartwithcontrol

0905 - Control was made aware of 4 people stuck in a lift in a property in Watford. Crews from Watford are in attendance and assessing the situation.

1042 - Tunstall made control aware about an alarm going off in a property in Rickmansworth. Crews from RickmansworthFire and Watford Fire Station are on route to assess the situation.

14:16 crews from Watford Fire Station assisted our colleagues EEAST Ambulance Service in extricating a time critical patient. Crews were able to quickly assist so the patient could be conveyed to hospital #workingtogether
