I wonder if Jamaal Bowman Ed.D. has the intellectual curiosity to look up the story of Hanukkah. His empty gestures of “happy Hanukkah” ring hollow to Jewish New Yorkers who have had enough of him using his platform to dump on Israel. No gelt for Jamaal!

He clearly does not know that Hanukkah celebrates the perseverance of Jews indigenous to modern day Israel and West Bank who secured religious autonomy and self determination against foreign antisemitic colonizers? He doesn’t believe in a Jewish state of Israel. Empty gesture.

He says republicans aren’t serious about addressing antisemitism. But he’s the one who REFUSED to vote to condemn Hamas and then REFUSED to vote to condemn antisemitism. These were uncontroversial resolutions that many House Dems voted for. But he refused.
