Fourteen years ago, the BP Deepwater Horizon spill sparked a months-long environmental disaster and became the largest marine oil spill in history.

It is essential that we continue fighting for environmental reforms and clean energy to prevent disaster and protect the Earth.

The Columbine shooting, which happened 25 years ago, was right when I started teaching. Since then there have been over 400 more school shootings across the country. Kids shouldn’t have to be afraid of going to school. We need common sense gun reforms now.
